Our intrusive search function within BuddyCRM is called PAL, you can complete a Basic PAL search with set filter options. Create your own specific PAL search with an Advanced search and save your requirements to use these again. You can also complete a PAL search from our new Modules Leads, Accounts and Opportunities.
To get to the PAL search simply click on the PAL icon next to the standard Boolean search.
Basic PAL provides user-friendly filters that are set within BuddyCRM. Select from Company, Contact, Opportunity or Case. Select an Owner of the record and then tick as many other search filters you require. Then click on the looking glass. This will then give you a list of results, you can work from or Export to a PDF and Excel.
To switch to an Advanced PAL search, simply click on the Advanced icon next to the search function.
Advanced PAL is a more intrusive search which will allow you to bring up specific results. Once you have click on Advanced you will be taken to the below screen.
In the Search Bar, press Space. This will then bring up some fields to assist you which are featured within BuddyCRM. Select any of the fields which you require or type your selected field, then press space again. You can select the option to Equal or be similar to the result. Then you have what you want the end result will be. For example, Owner = Joe Bloggs. You can also add another search by adding either AND/OR. For example, Owner = Joe Bloggs AND Owner = Julie Bloggs.
You can then save the Query to the system so you can run this again in the future. To Save, simply click Save PAL. You can also view your Saved queries, click on the saved queries icon and you will see the list you have created.
You can also amend what you see within the results area. Simply, click the Cog Icon then select your fields.
